By accessing or using FlowMate, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the service.

2. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Ensuring the accuracy of information you provide
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 18 years old to use FlowMate. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other accounts
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content

4. Subscription & Billing

Free Plan

The Free plan provides basic budgeting features at no cost. You may use the Free plan indefinitely.

Premium Plan

The Premium plan is billed monthly at $4.99 USD. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the subscription fee in advance each billing cycle
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• Price changes with 30 days notice

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.

5. Refunds & Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Premium features until the period ends.

Refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis. Generally, we do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, but we will work with you to resolve billing issues fairly.

6. Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee:

• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the service will meet all your requirements
• That defects will be corrected immediately

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual Property

FlowMate and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the service.

Your data remains your property. You grant us a license to use your data only as necessary to provide the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• FlowMate is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not responsible for financial decisions made based on our insights

FlowMate is a budgeting tool, not financial advice. Always consult with qualified financial professionals for important financial decisions.

9. Data & Privacy

Your use of FlowMate is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We take data security seriously and implement industry-standard protections. However, you acknowledge that no system is 100% secure.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Fail to pay subscription fees (Premium users)

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through your account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the appropriate courts.
